Teen Esteem and Elements are school-based programs for boys and girls in grades 7 and 8.

Teen Esteem
  • The Teen Esteem program is for girls in Grades 7 and 8.
  • It takes place during lunch-hour sessions within the school.
  • The program is based on a mentorship model: female volunteers from the community come in and share experiences about their own careers and life choices.
  • The sessions include games, crafts and group discussions.
  • Topics covered include self-worth, setting goals for the future, and positive self-image.

Elements
  • The Elements program is for boys in Grades 7 and 8.
